I AM A LITTLE CONFUSED HERE.....

Aren't we talking about an upgrade path here. Exchange 2000 works very
well with Windows 2000 with whatever limitations until you do an upgrade
to Windows 2003. So I think YOU are incorrect. We have done four
upgrades over the past 5 months from win2000/exch2000 to
win2003/exch2003. All were an in place upgrade. And we never had a
problem. So I am NOT incorrect, rather YOU ARE. Again this person does
not want to run Windows 2000/Exchange 2003 for the rest of his life, but
he needs an upgrade path to Windows 2003/Exchange 2003. So read the post
in full and give reply that suits the practical requirement, not just a
hypothetical response.

JUST THAT YOU READ IT CORRECT, THE FOLLOWING IS QUOTE FROM THE LINK THAT
YOU PROVIDED:

Begin quote:
"If upgrading from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003, a physical server
running Exchange 2000 should be upgraded to Exchange 2003 before
upgrading the operating system to Windows Server 2003. This is the
approved upgrade path supported by Microsoft."
End quote:

Regards,

Raj

YOU are incorrect sir. If you had bothered to follow statements on this
list
my Microsoft Professionals you would clearly know that Exchange 2000
does
not work properly on Windows Server 2003.
