Mark,

I re-read his post and he contradicts himself...

"How would I allow, only external people to send email to it."

Perhaps he needs to clarify.

Thanks,
Chris

From his message:

"Is it possible in Exchange 5.5 to prevent anyone from the outside to send
email to an internal DL?"

I think he only wants EXTERNAL users to send to this DL. Removing the SMTP
would not allow this....

Is it possible in Exchange 5.5 to prevent anyone from the outside to send
email to an internal DL? Let's say I have xyz as an internal DL. Its email
address will be xyz@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Therefore, any one internally or externally, could send email to
xyz@xxxxxxxxxxxx How would I allow, only external people to send email to
it.

I know that I could use the Delivery restrictions tab and click on list, but
then I will need to add my entire GAL as the allow from. Is this the only
way to do it?

Best regards,
Juan
