Could you not check the permission on the server?

If you can't see the permissions tab from Outlook then the permissions set
on the Public folder is the place to be looking. You'll have to use Outlook
from a user account that has Owner permissions on this Public folder and try
tweaking the settings for this user. I would wager that OWA (? not sure what
OWN is) is bypassing security somehow.

Subject: [exchangelist] Outlook client cannot edit entries made in a shared
calendar

Hi All,

I have created a new company calendar and contact folder under my
public folder tree. Whilst creating everything worked fine, the user
can created entries in outlook and in OWN.

But (aint there always a but...), they cannot edit or delete an entry
made by another user if they're using the outlook client! When they try
an error occurs saying something about them not have the necessary
permissions! Which of course isn't the case because they can edit the
entries whilst using OWN.

I have tried to check the permissions on the folder (within outlook),
however the permissions tab is missing! I'm really lost so any help
would be really appreciated!

Kind Regards
