Hi Brett, I am not sure if this plays a role or not. But most ISP's block port 135 on all traffic because of the known virus attacks going around. You may want to see if your ISP or the ISP of the person trying to connect remote is blocking port 135. I do suggest that you look into doing RPC over HTTPS or OWA SSL and stay away from using port 135 if at all possible. I have looked at the firewall to ensure that ports 110, 25, 135, and those above 5000 are open and or listening. We have been experiencing a lag in connectivity here in the office as well, that is also unexplainable. If anyone has any ideas because I am running out of where to look.... ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
