Hey, here's a thought, can everyone on this list setup their 'Out of Office' alerts to reply to everyone BUT messages from 'exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' I am editing mine now to 'do my part' :-) Chris ________________________________ From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Taylor, George Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 4:38 PM To: exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ExchangeList] Re: Outlook Reply Yep, just as I thought, the autoreplies come straight from the user's mailbox, not from the list, so there is nothing a list administrator can do. I'l take a look as soon as I get them from this message, but I really don't think it's a listserv issue. Some list moderators arn't as tolerant and will suspend the individual as soon as they see one, a little harsh I think when a simple reminder can help. Honestly it doesn't really bother me, my delete key works rather well. Could the moderator/Administrator of this list please contact me offline? Every time I post a message or reply to a message on this list I receive Out of Office Auto Replies from every member of this list that has that feature enabled on their client at the time I send the message. My latest post resulted in 9 Auto Reply messages. Very annoying and very unnecessary. I also assume the individuals using this feature would prefer that their personal info not be sent out to the list. Does this happen to everyone who posts on this list?
