Thanks Hermano, it does not appear to be a permissions issue, it seems to be
a bug in Outlook 2003, or I am missing something completely.

Hi Mark,

I would start with permissions and keep going to find out if the
GroupWise mailbox recognized their Exchange inbox as receiver from the
GroupWise site. It's weird and confused but I'll start from this edge
because I'm pretty sure that others steps you already went through.

Subject: [exchangelist] Outlook 2003 with Groupwise and Exchange 2003

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi all

I have a quick question about using Outlook 2003 with two email providers
(Groupwise and Exchange 2003), one of my clients currently has Groupwise and
I have just spent the week with them training and planning the migration, I
noticed something that is both strange and annoying in my lab.

I can configure Outlook 2003 to open both the users Exchange mailbox and
their Groupwise mailbox and this works ok (they can see and access both), if
I drag a message from their Groupwise mailbox into their Exchange inbox the
message body does not come across, but if I drag a message from their
Exchange inbox into their Groupwise mailbox the message comes across ok.

What they want to do is give the user access to their old Groupwise mailbox
and have them drag over the messages that they want to keep in Exchange, and
then in a few months the Groupwise server will be completely decommissioned,
but this plan is not going to work if the drag and drop does not work.

It seems very strange that it works great dragging from Exchange to
Groupwise but not from Groupwise to Exchange.

Am I missing something or does this just not work, any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Kind regards
