Marcel: May be that the Outlook client cannot browse the Global Address list... this can happen if the RestrictAnonymous registry key on the global catalog server is set to 0x2... need to set it back to 0x0... (you can find it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa)... if after rebooting or after a while you find that the registry key defaults back to 0x2, it's probably due to a higher security Group Policy security template you may have (so might need to change that)... hope this helps...
