OWA - multiple logon (authentication) boxes

Get multiple logon boxes in browser when trying to access OWA using IIS
Basic Authentication (content appears in browser screen little by little
as you reenter domain/username and password repeatedly)... doesn't happen
when IIS is set for Integrated Authentication, but does happen when it's
set for Basic Authentication... any clue on why or how to solve it?
...problem is that OWA needs to be accessed thru ISA and from any browser
so cannot have Integrated Authentication -- must have Basic
Authentication...
