OWA FE Server Location

We are looking to implement a Front-end OWA server on our network. I've
seen arguement for both putting it in the DMZ and putting it behind the
firewall. Just to give you a little info about our environment - we have 1
firewall w/ no ISA Server. I know Microsofts recommendation is 2 firewall
w/ a ISA server in the middle and the OWA server on the internal network.
Since we do not have a ISA server or a 2nd firewall what would be the best
solution.
