OWA Error Exchange server is down or HTTP service has been disabled

We have setup OWA In our DMZ
Exchange server is located in teh internal network
Once we enter username and password and the mailbox name the below error
appears
Microsoft Exchange server is down or or the HTTP Service has been disabled
We have tried all the options such as HTTP / LDAP enabled in Exchange
server
Made no difference
need help
