Open the properties on the IIS site via IIS manager and it will show the log
file directory and type etc.
System32\logfiles is usually the location. It would be under something like
w3svc folder.

Where are the logs located in IIS? I checked for them so far didn't find
any. I did find one in system32\logfiles but it did not contain the info I
was looking for.

Are you sure it's not sending any data to the 5.5 server? Have you
traced
the link or looked at the IIS logs to see if it makes it there?

This is what the rule actual says:
HTTPS:
Incoming: Allowed
From: Any
To: Public Address (Internet Address) -> Private Network Address
(Address of IIS server)
Outgoing: Allowed
From: Any
To: Any
Properties: tcp protocol on port443 using client port client
I managed to find an older config from a time where this was working and
it matches. What could I have missed?

The configuration is HTTPS proxy or packet filter? It's hard to tell
from your log, but it looks like it's allowing outbound traffic, but I
see nothing about inbound traffic.
Is there more to the log?

First I have a Watchguard firebox III/700. I have an https proxy that
says anything from outside alias address on my firewall goes to the
inside webserver address using port 443. I see the following on my
firewall log, but have changed the ips for privacy in this email
03/18/04 09:36 firewalld[124]: allow out eth1 48 tcp 20 128 10.0.0.0
69.10.12.13 1442 443 syn (HTTPS)
Why aren't I seeing anything coming in?

Depends. What kind of firewall is it? When you present to the firewall
a request to get HTTPS access to a resource, it's up to the firewall to
pass it on. What do the firewall logs say is going on?

Hi All -
About a week ago I was asked to delete the https mapping in my firewall.
I did. Due to the fact that we were not going to be using OWA 5.5 any
longer. Now the higher ups decided that we would use it for the next
few weeks until we upgrade to Exchange 2003 with OWA 2003.
I have remapped the https to the web server inside but this is not
working??? What could I have missed?? I can still get to it from the
inside?? Any suggestions, please help?
