Your firewall does not necessarily have anything to do with this.

It is a DNS issue, and you correct, there is no PTR records.

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=65.171.76.36

You will either need to have Sprint create the PTR records for you, or have
them delegate the IP zone to you and then you can have your DNS servers hold
the PTR records.
