This will come across as a novice type question but here goes. I've got 2 host records created in my internal DNS; one for the server's Netbios name and the other for "mail", or mail.nubiint.com. I currently have MX records created for each of these. Now I'm sure this is NOT the way to do this, so my question is which MX record do I keep? -----Original Message----- From: Steve Moffat [mailto:steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, March 02, 2003 7:34 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Need help configuring Exchange 2k server to receive internet mail... http://www.MSExchange.org/ Marvin, also bind to the ip specified in your mx record in your internal dns Steve -----Original Message----- From: Mark Fugatt [mailto:mark@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, March 03, 2003 12:08 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Need help configuring Exchange 2k server to receive internet mail... http://www.MSExchange.org/ Marvin Have you contacted Bellsouth and made sure they are not blocking port 25 on their routers, many ISP's have started to do this if you do not have a business class account with them.
