Use the procedure here: http://www.swinc.com/resource/e2kfaq_appxa.htm The ADC is probably OK on your E2k server depending on loading, etc. It needs good access to a GC server and your 5.5 server, so you could always consider moving it to a GC server. Neil _____ From: saker klippsten [mailto:saker@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 24 September 2003 03:33 To: [ExchangeList] http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hello all. I have an Exchange Server 2000Sp3 Setup on Win2k Advanced Server this is ADC as well as the e-mail server. I want to move exchange2000 to a seperate box. We have been having some funky problems with our current server. We have 50 users setup and I dont want to start from scratch with a new domain blah blah. What would be the best way to go about migrating this to a new box preserving our current domain and all the users as well as our mail server. For the future is it better to have exchange on a seperate box than our ADC? and how would I set that up. thanks for your time -Saker ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: neil.hobson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ______________________________________________________ This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
