Hi Robert,

You need not move all your mailboxes at one go. In fact you can actually
spread your migration over a number of days by moving the mailboxes in small
batches.

However ensure that you have sufficient disk space on your transaction log
drive, as you will see large number of transaction logs being created, while
moving the mailboxes.

Regards
Allan L.

Hi Allan,

If I start moving mailboxes I cannot stop in the middle of the process
right? I have to make them all at once cause exchange won't recognize which
mailbox is on which exchange right? So this move should be done, overnight
or no right?

Install the new server in the same admin group as your existing exchange
server and then move mailboxes and public folders to the new server.

Hi all,

What if you don't need to keep the same name? Is it easier again?

Thanks,
Chris
