Hi Keith Once you reach the 16GB limit the Information Store will shutdown. Assuming you have the physical disk space you could upgrade to the Enterprise Edition. Adding a second server is another option but would seem a rather expensive one on the face of it. Upgrading the amount of disk space is another option but may not be easy to implement in practice due to hardware factors. My honest opinion would be to upgrade to Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition if you need the extra storage space and have the hardware resources. Another option of course is to delete data from the store and run a defrag to actually reclaim the space to get you back under the 16GB limit. Hope that helps. Don't hesitate to get back to me if I can help further at all. Now what happens when we hit the Microsoft 16gb mark? Does it stop accepting mail in/out? How do I resolve this? What do I need to do to extend the 16gb limit? Add a 2nd Server? Larger hard drive?
