My personal thought is that we don't have enough information about the clients to know a good way to migrate them for you? For example, are they currently netscape clients? Are they Outlook clients? Will they be Outlook clients? Are the clients members of the domain? Are they going to be members of the domain? What's the overall migration strategy you are going to use? How many users are we talking about? Here's one thought, but it's not my favorite: http://www.lsa.umich.edu/lsait/Outlook/techfaqs/netscape6.html Another good resource (still, I prefer server side migrations but...) http://www.slipstick.com/config/convmsg.htm It's been a while, but as I recall you can use the Exchange migration utility (included with Exchange Server) to migrate the netscape mailboxes. The accounts are a little different. There's a third-party utility that can help with passwords and accounts to help you out. Migration is a big word. What exactly do you want to migrate? Mail data? Account information? Passwords? What? They offer a product that does Netscape mail to Outlook PST. I do not know if it is free or must be purchased. Hope it helps Jim. http://www.connectedsw.com/AddressMagic.html?GoogleNs=1 ----- Original Message ----- From: "manickam" <Manickam_Annamalai@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ExchangeList]" <exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 2004 8:04 AM Subject: [exchangelist] Move mailboxes from Netscape Messaging Server to Exchange 2003 server > http://www.MSExchange.org/ > > I want to move the Netscape Mailboxes to exchange 2003 server which i > have installed newely. > give me your valuable idesa how to move the mailboxes to Exchange at > the early as its very urgent > > pl help me to move the mailboxes from Netscape messagine server to > Exchange 2003 > > > Manickam Annamlai > > ------------------------------------------------------ > List Archives: > http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist > Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp > Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ > ------------------------------------------------------ > Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: > Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com > No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows > Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network > Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax > Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com > ------------------------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ ************************************************************************** This email (including any attachments) is intended for the sole use of the intended recipient/s and may contain material that is CONFIDENTIAL AND PRIVATE COMPANY INFORMATION.
