Meeting Request generates NDR

When I accept a meeting request in Outlook (or OWA 2003) and send a
response, I get an undeliverable for a recipient that is no longer in
the organization. I've already looked at the following KB with no
resolution. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=251168
Any Ideas?
