If you do this before the recipient update service runs, then 'no'
emails show up, not even the external SMTP addie. I struggle with the
same thing. I basically just have to wait for the update service, then
go take out my 'domain' email addresses and then uncheck that box.

Dan,
You can uncheck the option, and Remove the Internal email addresses from
the object. No need to run RUS.

Raj,

That's OK **after** I have created the Contact, but by then the
user@xxxxxxxxxxxxx is created automatically by ES. If I uncheck the box,

what do I have to do to remove that address (and leave the proper
external
one: run RUS?

What I'd really like is a way to set a recipient Policy so that any new
Contact is created only with his/her external address.
