Mustafa, the purpose of the FE server is so that the Outlook client need not
know the name of the BE server. The FE server is simply a proxy for the
client which directs the requests the BE server based on the users Exchange
information in AD.

Hi Michael!
That is exactly Exchange question. It is important to know in a FE/BE
architecture which server name the Outlook client must know as Exchange
Mail Server.
Consider that mailboxes are stored on back-end Exchange server. Microsoft
Support told that Exchange mail server must be the server where mailboxes
are stored. In this case the back-end Exchange must be the mail server on
Outlook client. I have doubt about it.

Best Regards
Mustafa
