I would have to agree, especially if you're considering *all* firewall solutions, which are casually being tossed aside by a statement like "replace any existing firewall setup you current have in place". That's highly impractical, and smacks of advertising propaganda. Pure MS propaganda usually softens it a bit more than that, even. Not sure who wrote that, but not something I'm too interested in reading. -Chris -----Original Message----- From: Kenny Mann [mailto:Kennymann@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 10:08 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: MSExchange.org - Real-Time Article Update http://www.MSExchange.org/ Why would ISA server really be different than any other firewall? I would assume that a firewall should have only one real job, and that is blocking/allowing information to pass across ports and limites which local IP's get that information, if needed. Perhaps I am mistaken? --KM >-----Original Message----- >From: Chris Nielsen [mailto:cnielsen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] >Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 10:57 AM >To: [ExchangeList] >Subject: [exchangelist] RE: MSExchange.org - Real-Time Article Update > > >http://www.MSExchange.org/ > >"...it behooves you replace any existing firewall setup you >current have in place and use an ISA Server 2000-based >firewall offering." > >Is it just me or is that a simply ridiculous comment? > >-Chris > > >-----Original Message----- >From: MSExchange.org [mailto:info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] >Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 7:22 AM >To: [ExchangeList] >Subject: [exchangelist] MSExchange.org - Real-Time Article Update > >http://www.MSExchange.org/ > > > >Title: Publishing Exchange 2003 Outlook Web Access (OWA) with >ISA Server 2000 >Summary: ISA Server 2000 is the firewall of choice when >publishing Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003 services.
