It's likely the service pack difference between the two servers.

Subject: [ExchangeList] MS Outlook will not open after users move to
Exch 2003 sp2

Greetings,

I have Windows 2003 AD and Exchange 2003 Sp1. We are moving some users a
new server (better hardware) which has Exchange 2003 SP2. When the users
open outlook they receive "cannot start
Microsoft Outlook unable to open the outlook window the set of folders
could not be opened". Outlook then quits. They do not have psts. They
can access their mailbox fine through OWA. If we go to each user's
machine and re-do the profile it works. This is not happening to all the
users, just a handful.

We have synchronized the Domain. We have told RUS to rebuild. nothing
seems to help. Everything I found on google pointed to pst issue.

Any suggestions? Any idea what is happening?

Thanks
