You need to do an exchange aware backup to remove the logs from mdbdata dir - 
use the eseutil /mk (something like that) to find the committed log files which 
can be deleted.
Win2k backup is Exchange aware.

We're having some serious diskspace issues with our exchange 2k box.  All of 
the viruses being quarantined are part of the problem.  We also have a ton of 
exchange logs that are sitting around.  The problem is we don't have time to 
run a backup before the disk fills up and the backup fails.  Is it ok to just 
delete the logs?  I know this may affect backing up today, but we really, 
really need to free up some space.

Any help would be great.  Thanks
