Please could you stop this!
There might be something wrong at your email server, because I keep receiving
emails from you with the same context over and over.
Please don't cc me or include my email specifically in your emails.

Many thanks
Ruba Al Omari

DEAR ALL,

YES , IF I TOOK THE BACKUP , YES IT WILL REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE MDBDATA FOLDER
ON THE LOG.

BUT I HAVE THE SOME QUESTIONS REGARDING THAT , HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THAT , THE
BACKUP WHICH I TOOK IT IS WORKING PERFECT, NOT DAMMAGED OR NOT CORRUPTED??

I MEAN , IF THE BACKUP SIZE FOR EXAMPLE IS 5.2 GB, HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THIS
BACKUP IS IN CORRECT WAY, NOT DAMAGED . ? CAN I KNOW ?

Skak,

Like someone already said you need to backup your Exchange, afterwards
the log files which are 5MB each will get nuked but will start to grow
again until another backup is performed. If you are unable to backup
your Exchange and want to save space you can enable circular logging,
however if your Exchange blows it will be very unlikely that you will be
able to recover your mailboxes using Microsoft techniques. Instead you
will either have to take your MBDATA folder to a data recovery place, or
do it yourself using a piece of software from Ontrack.

Andrew
