No headers? That's weird. Have you confirmed that it's not a display issue with the client? Try a pop connection from a telnet client to see if the headers are there but not being rendered to be sure. Also, what is in the mail path? One mailer? Two mailers? Many mailers? If no headers, do you have multiple paths that can be taken? Try tracking the good and not so good message to see what the path it's taking is. It may be a faulty mailer or misconfigured mailer in the path somewhere. One other question comes to mind: What made you look for headers on this message in the first place? Is there another problem that caused this investigation? -Al _____ From: Shevill, Mark M SITI-ITIBCE22 [mailto:Mark.Shevill@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, May 19, 2004 6:38 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Internet Headers http://www.MSExchange.org/ I have a strange problem where internet headers are not always on mail messages and was hoping someone may be able to shed some light. Scenario: A user receives a daily HTML mail from an external company. Each day the mail comes in at roughly the same time in the morning. On Tuesday the mail has internet headers, on wednesday the mail does not have internet headers. Any thoughts please?
