Did you installed the Exchange System Manager on the server(s) in the child
Does the account that you are logged in with have at least View Only Admin
to the Exchange Administrative Group or Organization?
You will also need to create a Recipient Update Service that points to the
child domain:

Subject: [exchangelist] Installation E2K in subdomain

Hi All !
I have installed E2K in my domain, also I want to have an opportunity to
make mailboxes
in my sub-domain. I expanded AD's shema structure with /domainprep and
/forestprep commands,
but I still can't make any mailboxes. My DC doesn't see the path to
mailboxe store !
Does anybody know any articles about installation E2K in subdomains ?
Best Regards
Andrey Silkin
