Incoming email rejected

Exchange 2000 sp2
Problem: I can send email but everything that is sent to me or anybody
else in the firm gets returned as:
<<< 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for DanC@xxxxxxxxxxxx
550 5.1.1 <DanC@xxxxxxxxxxxx>... User unknown
<<< 554 5.5.2 No valid recipients
I've also gotten this:
451 4.4.1 reply: read error from ....
<danc@xxxxxxxxxxxx>... Deferred: Connection reset by ...
Warning: message still undelivered after 6 hours
Will keep trying until message is 1 day old
I telnet it and it works fine but when I send myself an email form
outside I get the error above.
Any Ideas? Please send replies to dc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
