Inbound Internet email Message-id

Can any one of you out there give me a little note on what the message-id means.
I am talking about the information you get by right clicking on your received
Internet mail and select 'option'
Under the Internet Heading information, you can see the message-id which kind
of shows you where the message originate from.
I have been looking at some spam mail and my big question is that what if the
message id looks like
<********iMCIqtQvAau00000196@********.********.com>
And ******** is actually is my own corporate exchange 2k server!
Would that make any sense?
Any info is appreciate
