Did you uninstall IMF V1 first?

Just to make sure, you access the enable/disable setting for IMF like
this:

1. Go to the Properties of "Default SMTP Virtual Server"
2. On the General tab click the Advanced button.
3. Click Edit.

Do you see "Apply Intelligent Message Filter" ?

Subject: [exchangelist] IMF SP2

I installed sp2 for Exchange 2003 , before doing so I added Required
Registry entry for IMF and then patched. I have the IMF tabs in Message
Delivery but do not have the IMF object under default smtp virtual
server. Where did I go wrong.

Exchange 2003 sp2 on Windows 2003 upgraded from 2000.

Thanks Bruce Rose
