Have you started the IMAP service in Services?

I have installed a new Exchange 2003 server and POP3 and SMTP are working
just fine but IMAP4 service won't even start.  I see it is there in the
Service Manager MMC, but it has a "red x" on it (I am sure you know what I
mean!) and I don't have any clues as to what to check next.

Any ideas where I should look next?
