Yes, with Exchange 5.5, I was able to allow anonymous lookups. How is this
done in Exchange 2000?

I assume that you are talking about LDAP lookups when you are sending
mail?

The Only problem is now is how do I get this Exchange 2000 FE server to
handle LDAP request anonymously as Exchange 5.5 did?

That works...The Exchange 2000 FE server will route IMAP & POP3 to
Exchange 5.5 servers.

You can set up an exchange 2000 front-end server for your IMAP. This
will proxy your IMAP to the correct server automatically. This works
fine between exchange 2000 servers, I am not sure about exchange 5.5.
Your entry point would have to be through and exchange 2000 server in
and case.

How do connect to my Exchange site via POP3 or IMAP and find a mailbox
when I have users on multiple Exchange servers (some 5.5 and some 2K)?
When I connect to the 5.5 server via IMAP and the user is on the 2K
server, it says 'There is no replica for that mailbox on this server'

How do I create one entry point to all my Exchange servers?
