thanks for the info Marvin - I may try their product - I see on their web
site that they have a free one - but the one that is purchasable is not as
expensive as I might have thought so maybe I can talk the powers that be into
the deal!

I've found GFI to be worth the money for small businesses. It could
easily hang with the big boys because it can be fine tuned to your own
specifications. This situation was one where the baynesian filter was enabled
and all tagged mail was being sent to a different folder. This caused an
alarm to most of the users who were used to getting this type of mail, which
is now considered spam. There were a few false positives mainly because once
people realize their mail is being scanned and tagged as spam all of a sudden
everything they get is important, so it becomes a matter of educating them on
the policy.

GFI aren't expensive.......many of my small clients are
really impressed by the results and the low outlay.

Yes
I know it's a great product!
But I am in that group of small businesses that cannot afford
the products that make it work the way I think it should have from the
beginning! IT would be nice if Exchange 2000 had a list-serve capability too
- so it might be the cadillac - but I kind of like Ferraris (aren't they more
than cadillacs?)
