Firstly, please make sure your D: have enough free size to accomodate your
database. otherwise your need to add one more hardisk on the system.
Secondly, stop all service which Exchange server use. eg. System
attandance, Information Store ... etc.
Thirdly, run "Microsoft Exchange Optimizer" , this program will give you
oppotunity to change the location of database, you can relocate the
Information Store to D drive or new driver.
Finally, Restart the server.

Subject: [exchangelist] Hard disk full

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi List

I am using exchange 5.5. My server hard disk has 2 partitions and C
partition has no more space and for this reason exchange server stops
running so every time I move programs file to D drive. I want to move mail
stores of users. So how I can do that??
What is the best and secure method to move store??
Is it possible to move mail box of some users another partition??
