This doesn't help you FIX the problem (or find out why it happened), but
I think you can just delete the .ost file and the problem will just go
away, until it happens again :-) Like sweeping the dust under the
rug....

Subject: [exchangelist] Ghost Messages

http://www.MSExchange.org/

One of my users has about 10 messages in his outbox that he created when
on offline mode. When he connected to the network and sync. those
messages didn't get send. He then, started outlook in offline mode
again and the messages are in the outbox, but if he connects they
disappear from the outbox.

I have tried to delete, move, copy them with no luck, I get an error
saying that either they have been moved or I ( the user) doesn't have
permissions to access them.

Have any of you seen this strange behavior?

At this point I don't care about actually sending the emails, but just
to get rid of them

thanks

Juan
