I had a similar problem in our production environment. Fixed it by re-installing the groupwise connector.. -----Original Message----- From: elanyon@xxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, 26 June 2002 8:49 AM To: elanyon@xxxxxxx; exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [exchangelist] GW to E2K Migration http://www.MSExchange.org/ - Re-Vamped! I am testing the Groupwise connector for Exchange and the Groupwise API gateway. The Groupwise server in the testbed is running the API gateway and GWIA. All inbound internet e-mail is routed to the GWIA. The connector seems to be talking to the GW server running the API gateway. It routes e-mails to accounts that live on the Exchange box...with one problem: When I send an email from my GroupWise 5.5.4.1 server to my test account on my Exchange 2000 server (different domain), the Exchange server shows the from address very funky (for lack of a better word). In Outlook 2002, the From shows this: "Eric Lanyon" <elanyon@xxxxxxx> [[rfi.com]];.elanyon] If I hit reply, it shows the same thing in the To field. If I send the email, the Exchange box comes back with the following header: From: System Administrator Sent: Date and Time To: '"Eric Lanyon" <elanyon@xxxxxxx>' Subject: Undeliverable The following recipient(s) could not be reached: "'Eric Lanyon" <elanyon@xxxxxxx>' on date and time stamp. The email address could not be found <mail.exchangedomain.com #5.1.0> If I manually enter my GW address, elanyon@xxxxxxx, it works perfectly in Outlook. Not sure if this is an Exchange/Outlook problem or a GW problem. I had the same problem in my testbed. I followed Novell's TID 10061409 to fix it in the test bed, but the same tweak does not work in production. Any ideas?
