Yes I have been looking in the KB, but I couldn't find nothing about the
problem I'm having.

Have you been in touch with GFI support???

They are pretty good, and very helpful.

Do you mean I need to install another machine with Exchange (not in cluster) as
a front end server to deploy GFI?

As a user of GFI for the past 2 years, I strongly suggest keeping GFI separate
from Exchange - especially in a cluster environment.

I think you will have much more success if you put GFI on a Front End stand
alone server and keeping your backend Exchange services separate on the
clusters.

Just my two cent though.

Subject: [exchangelist] GFI MailSecurity in Exchange 2k Cluster

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi,

Yesterday I posted a message on the list asking for a procedure to install GFI
MailSecurity on a two node Echange 2000 cluster with Windows 2000. Steve Moffat
answered me and I followed the procedure
http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID001516
<http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID001516> . My one is an active
passive cluster, and I'm using the MailSecurity v8.1. But when I finish
installing and configuring it in cluster administrator, the Exchange
Information Store stops and don't start in neither of the nodes. Can somebody
help me?

Thanks in Advance

Alexey Fernandez Suarez
