Changing the display name should have no negative effects on your users,
so I wouldn't worry about that. The underlying addressing will remain
consistent.

Hi,

We are having Windows 2003 Domain Controller and Exchange 5.5 in
Windows NT 4.0 Server.

We are migrating Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 (Exchange 2003 is
installed in another server. It is not an in place upgrade)

The display name of the Exchange 5.5 Site (Directory) is having
characters which are not supported in Exchange 2003.

If we change the display name, will it affect the Existing Exchange
5.5 setup?

I referred the site which is given below. It says, we can do it. But
is there anyone who has practical experience in this issue?
