http://www.msexchange.org -------------------------------------------------------John, I have only used Outlook as Exchange client so far, so I cannot comment on other clients. However, the fact is, the initial FB publishing takes place when the new user logs on to the mailbox using the Outlook client. I am not sure if Entourage works exactly like Outlook, but I assume it does since it is a Microsoft product. So, if the new user logs on using Entourage it should also initialize the FB data for the new mailbox. Until then you will only see /////// in the FB data for the new user. Are you running Office 2004 SP2 in the Mac? As per Microsoft, Entourage 2004 with SP2 greatly enhances Entourage/Exchange integration. HTH. Are you saying that the new user has to log into Outlook atleast once? The reason I ask is because we have a variety of mail clients that we are using to retrieve email from our Exchange server. --- "Periyasamy, Raj" <Raj.Periyasamy@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > http://www.msexchange.org > -------------------------------------------------------The > FB information for a new user does not get > published/initialized > until that person logs on to the mailbox at least > once. > > > HTH. > Regards, > Raj Periyasamy > MCSE(Messaging), CCNA > > > -----Original Message----- > From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf > Of John B > Sent: Wednesday, October 18, 2006 10:26 AM > To: exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [ExchangeList] Re: Frre/Busy Issue > > http://www.msexchange.org > -------------------------------------------------------Ok, > here is > something for you to chew on... > > I created a test user and his free/busy info doesn't > show up.
