Hmmmm.

Hmmmm.

Hmmmm.

I would tend to CHANGE the mail and proxyAddresses attributes in the
object, as opposed to deleting the object. That will free them up for
you, but should not generate replication errors later. The targetAddress
would remain a constant, so Exchange and ADC should still be able to
locate the folder as necessary.

Just my best guess-since it's just one folder, it's probably not worth
spazzing out over, but if it were more I'd really want to dig into
what's going on.

I'm sure Mark is much more the expert on this topic - but what is your
ADC replication schedule set to?

Yes, I just looked. I see it in ADSI edit. Its under MS Exchange system
objects folder.
Should I delete it from there?

Hi Martin

So if you search AD for the email address, does anything show up.

Can you delete it using ADSIEDIT?

GAL

We are in the final steps of our E55 to E2K3 migration.

During this migration we discovered a troublesome PF that was mail
enabled that could no longer receive internet mail. So I had the
brilliant idea to delete the PF and recreate it.
I deleted the PF. All references are gone in both ExAdmin and ESM. The
PF is gone from the OL view as well. BUT the PF still exists in the GAL
and wont go away. I cant recreate the PF because I need the email
addresses from the original one, and its still hanging around somewhere.

How can I get rid of this reference?
