The Active Directory Connector is only needed if you have 5.5 servers in
your org and has nothing to do with forestprep.

Hello,

You can run both tools on your Exchange server, as long as you have the
active directory connector installed

Can I run ForestPrep from my Exchange server or do I need to run it
directly from on my domain controller? If I understand, it doesn't
matter which server you run DomainPrep from.
