I need to extract this list of security groups to a file. It must list
the group name and list the members in it??
Not sure if filter will do all this.

You should be able to user AD users and Computers:
Create a custom filter
Click the advanced tab
Enter in the LDAP field
memberOf=CN=<group>,CN=Users,DC=abc,DC=abccompany,DC=com

of security groups from a single container along with its members?
