You enabled the SMTP service on the OS or the 5.5 application (IMS?)

This setting is possible, but if it accepts mail for your internet
connection it's not recommended.

Can you provide some more details?

Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange5.5 SMTP Connection

I have an MSExchange 5.5 on a Windows 2K server. I enable SMTP service on
this server. Can I only accept SMTP connection from some host (base on IP or
name) and deny all SMTP connection from others ? If yes, how can do it ?
Thanks in advance.
Ha.
