Exchange server sends garbage mails

I have installed exchange 2003 and installed group shield on it
My problem is
Exchsnge server randomly picks up some name from Global access List and send
some mails to different others users. After getting these mails users complaint
that we did not send this mail what should I do
I know this is due to the virus but how to clean the system pl. suggest
