Dear, The priv1.* use for stored all of your email, it's very important. For the log files, every 5Mb per log file so you see the number of file will be increased when you get alots of email. You should be back up your log files to restored when the disaster happened. I think your system were infected new virus. Please scan the virus and update your OS to patch the OS security.
