Dear,

The priv1.* use for stored all of your email, it's very important. For the log 
files, every 5Mb per log file so you see the number of file will be increased 
when you get alots of email. You should be back up your log files to restored 
when the disaster happened.

I think your system were infected new virus. Please scan the virus and update 
your OS to patch the OS security. For more information pls go to Microsoft, 
Symantec, NAI web site.

Dear All,
             I have exchange 2000 on win2k 2days back my exchange was ok but 
today in the morning when i came i saw around 6GB Log files for 1day i have 
only 25 cleints can any one tell me what could make these log files grow so big 
and additionaly can any one tell me the way to delete this log files.

What is the purpose of priv1.stm and pub1.stm?
