Exchange SP1 Needs Repeated Reboot

Since installing Exchange 2003 SP1, I have had to reboot the mail server
every morning. Inbound email stops and senders get bounce backs.
Internal messages continue as well as outbound. No messages are held in
queue, services are running... Service restarts do not fix the problem.
After reboot inbound continues again.
