http://www.msexchange.org ------------------------------------------------------- volnere is vulnere, which is the ablative case. The Exchange Resource Forest is to be the only Exchange element; other Forests/Domains will provide account resources. Thanks for your reply. It was my kids that took Latin, not me. I'm sure that's not important. Regardless, I've never been comfortable with that saying. I disagree with it. If you want to do it with domain trusts, you have to trust the forest domain and every child domain which has Exchange installed. Doing a transitive forest trust is much easier. Regards, Michael B. The plan calls for the creation of an Exchange Resource Forest utilizing another existing account Active Directory Resource Forest. The account forest is a mix of 2000 and 2003 domains. All the documentation of have gathered states that the Exchange Resource Forest must trust the Active Directory Resource Forest. Is this true? Can the same thing be accomplished with Domain level trusts? Any consideration would be greatly appreciated. -- Joe Russo Systems Programmer 200 Riverview Plaza Trenton, NJ 08625-0212 "Increscunt animi, virescit vulnere virtus" ------------------------------------------------------- List Archives: //www.freelists.org/archives/exchangelist/ MSExchange Newsletter: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp MSExchange Articles and Tutorials: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/ MSExchange Blogs: http://blogs.msexchange.org/ ------------------------------------------------------- Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe visit http://www.msexchange.org/pages/exchangelist.asp Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------- List Archives: //www.freelists.org/archives/exchangelist/ MSExchange Newsletter: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp MSExchange Articles and Tutorials: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/ MSExchange Blogs: http://blogs.msexchange.org/ ------------------------------------------------------- Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe visit http://www.msexchange.org/pages/exchangelist.asp Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------- List Archives: //www.freelists.org/archives/exchangelist/ MSExchange Newsletter: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp MSExchange Articles and Tutorials: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/ MSExchange Blogs: http://blogs.msexchange.org/ ------------------------------------------------------- Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe visit http://www.msexchange.org/pages/exchangelist.asp Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
