It works. I am starting to think the issue is with the ISP. Back when I had my business connection with the same ISP a few of their routers had issues with their MTU settings, every time my exchange would send out I would get the same issue, and I could telnet to the mail servers from the server side, however the ISPs routers would drop the information; now it was only when I dropped the MTU on the linksys router which connected to the Alcatel Speed Touch Home (PPPOE) that the email was going through. Even the ISP at the time admitted to there being a issue their router MTU's. So I am going to get a colleague of mine to go through it with a fine tooth comb, if it still doesn't work I am going to yank my Linksys that has the MTU setting in it and switch for the one they use to see if that fixes the problem on Monday. I am filtering Exchange on ISA, I can see the DNS being opened and then SMTP.. The odd SMTP gets denied. Did you check the logs on ISA server? From: Andrew English [mailto:andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, October 14, 2005 11:06 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange Issues http://www.MSExchange.org/ I am having issues with a client of mine. They are running Exchange 2003 Server with ISA 2004 acting as their firewall, they also have the IMF as well, latest updates etc. The issue is when they send emails out to people who they have sent emails to in the past before the server was setup it bounces back saying the email has been delayed. Then a day or so later it says unable to send the email to that person please contact the administrator of their network. This doesn't tell me if it's the fault of Exchange or the fault of the ISP in some way. I have check the SMTP logs and don't see anything that could suggest their being a problem, when I connect via OWA and send an email to my various accounts I get an email and nothing gets delayed, so I am at a loss as to what it could be if it's related to Exchange!?
