Mdaemon with the virus plug-in works very well although it doesn't have
all the features exchange has.
There's also something called Jana server which is for free and works,
although it isn't perfect.

OK here's the deal I have a client with 10 users and
want to get them on a local e-mail server with Norton
Antivirus on it to stop the e-mail viruses they have
been getting in the future and Exchange 2000 is a
little steep for them. What are some alternative
products that are good and cheap? I usually just work
with Exchange and Notes. The whole point is to kill
viruses before they get to the users.
