Hmm.. Hard to say. I know *originally* that wasn't the case because of IIS. The expected upgrade path is to upgrade to E2K3 and then upgrade the OS. Regardless, I do think that the recovery scenario is enough to make me cringe and run away screaming in the first place :) Welcome back Rick. -ajm -----Original Message----- From: Rick Boza [mailto:rickb@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, January 14, 2005 8:59 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Exchange 5.5 to 2000 mig. http://www.MSExchange.org/ While that's true, I seem to recall you can do an in-place upgrade of your OS underneath Ex2K - so it will RUN on a Win2K3 server, just won't install (the recovery scenarios are of course frightening). My token quickie response for the moment ;) Rick On 1/13/05 7:49 PM, "Mulnick, Al" <Al.Mulnick@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > http://www.MSExchange.org/ > > Doh! I mixed it up when I wrote it.
