Migrate next week?  Don't bother upgrading then, simply defrag the db,
have a few people empty their deleted items, defrag again and get on
with life.

I will go with the standard to enterprise upgrade. Moving users does not
necessarily free up space would still need to defrag database. this is a
temp solution to get the guys up and running then plan to migrate AD
from 2000 to 2003, them migrate exchange next week
